Grilled Loaded Baby Bakers

A fun play on the classic loaded baked potato that can be easily prepared alongside other items on the grill.

1/2 bag Roasted Baby Bakers (851), thawed and quartered
1/4 cup butter, cut into 1/4" pieces
6 slices Fully Cooked Bacon Slices (811), thawed and chopped
1/2 cup chopped green onion
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
Salt and pepper, to taste


  1. Combine baby bakers, butter and bacon in foil pouch and seal.
  2. Grill over medium-high indirect heat for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Add green onions and shredded cheese to cooked potatoes.
  4. Serve with a scoop of sour cream.

I’ve done these many times when I’m grilling on the back patio. Other times, I cheat and substitute the baby baker potatoes with tater tots, and I don’t entirely seal the aluminum foil to intentionally let some of the moisture out from the tots and bacon.

I did it tonight on the grill, but substituted local grocery store tater tots (Stars actually) and they were delicious!
